Meet Our Team

Matt Bergmann, CEO

Matt oversees both the Waconia and Mankato branches providing oversight over every department ranging from project management to human resources to financial oversight and much more. Matt is also the face of the company and works with nearly every customer, vendor and complimentary partner to help all of these partners achieve success. Matt handles all fiduciary responsibilities and oversees human resources as well. Matt is typically our clients first point of contact and the face of the company to end users, customers, vendors, subcontractors and others in the industry.

Andy Kerber, Executive Vice President

Andy joined LEC in 1998, during that time, Andy has supervised LEC’s most notable projects ranging up to several million in electrical scope. Andy is the head liaison to our field employees for technical questions and clarifications. Andy is responsible for helping our foreman run successful jobsites, oversee scheduling, and project planning.

Jake Radford, Vice President, Mankato Division

Following a successful career as a project manager and estimator in the Waconia office, Jake was promoted to VP, Mankato division when Laketown Electric acquired Javens Electric Inc in the summer of 2018. Jake is the day-to-day manager of all employees, project teams and human resource functions for our southern division.

Pauline Andresen, Controller

Dan joined LEC after a career that has had many important positions at Parsons, Killmer and MP Nexlevel to name a few. Dan is a savvy electrical estimating and project management veteran that brings a high level of service to all of the projects that he manages. Dan specializes in municipal, education, underground and specialty projects.

Dan Palmer, Senior Project Manager/Estimator

Dan joined LEC after a career that has had many important positions at Parsons, Kilmer and MP Nexlevel to name a few. Dan is a savvy electrical estimating and project management veteran that brings a high level of service to all of the projects that he manages. Dan specializes in municipal, education, underground and specialty projects.

Adam VonBehren, General Foreman/Project Manager

Adam joined LEC in 2016, and has since been promoted to General Foreman and Senior Project Manager. Adam oversees a large book of business with many of LEC’s best customers and also helps drive the operational missions at LEC.

Nick Route, Senior Project Manager

Following a successful 10+ year run at one of the largest union electrical contractors in the state, Nick was looking to join a company he could take ownership with. Nick joined LEC and has been involved in securing and managing large commercial projects as well as driving relationships with existing and new customers.

Jerry Burich, Senior Estimator

Jerry was courted by LEC for a period of 5 years prior to him coming on board. We were tired of him beating us on competitive bid situations! Jerry is the absolute leader in the office in helping LEC secure and land profitable work. Jerry is a tremendous asset to our team.

MANKATO DIVISION

Kenny Javens, Senior Project Manager & Automation Specialist

Kenny started Javens Electric in 1987. During that time he grew the workforce from a one-man shop to as many as 50 employees. Kenny has decided to retire and will work in a transitionary leadership role until the end of 2019. He brings a wealth of knowledge in automation and specialty projects that he is helping to train to his son Andrew in the Mankato Division. It is the goal that Andrew will elevate to take over Kenny’s roles upon retirement.

Randy Senkyr, Senior Project Manager

Randy started in the Mankato office in the late 1980s. He is the main point of contact for all service and general contractors in the area. His knowledge and dedication to the satisfaction of our customers is unparalleled.

Brad Pyan, Project Manager

Brad started in the Mankato office in the late 1980s. Brad runs many of the large awarded commercial and industrial projects for our Mankato office once we are awarded them. He also is consistently meeting with our industrial clients to help them achieve their goals.

LEC HALL OF FAME

Christine Bergmann, Chairwoman of the Board

Christine founded Laketown Electric in 1975, and during that time has been involved in everything from the ground up.

David Bergmann, In Memory

David started Laketown Electric in 1975 and received his Master’s Electricians license in the state of Minnesota that same year. David’s vast experience in the industry led him to create the basis of the great company that LEC is today. David passed away on December 5th, 2012.
